Party Photographers Get Moody at D!D!G May 15

Party Photographers will bring their moody surf rock to Danger! Danger! Gallery tonight. The Philly trio will induce some aggressive bopping with material from latest effort Second Masterpiece, their 4-track EP, and overcast follow-up to debut self-titled release. This collection of ambient lo-fi rock takes a minimalistic Japanther left out in the rain, and sprinkles it with the reverberating antiquity of 70s punk. This eerie vintage rock ‘n’ roll is haunted by singer Elizabeth Rogers’ smooth and vaporous vocals…think Beach House on a half a dose of ritalin. Party Photographers’ vibed-out pop is sure to bring a flowery basement punk party to the West Philly DIY venue. They’ll be sharing the stage with Dikes Of Holland, Dangerbird, Fossil Eyes, and Holy Ghost People. Danger! Danger! Gallery, 5013 Baltimore Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 8pm, $5 – 10 donations, All Ages – Jules Friedland
