Punksqueeze released a new single and video called "Straight Girl Crush" late last month and now have dropped a new single and lyric video called "Couch to 5k".

Both singles are taken for the group’s forthcoming album, Be Gay Have Fun!, which is due out in May.

The Nettes have released a new single called "The Loudest Voice". This is the Folk pop trio of Alex Fiolek, Kristina Cottone, and Sonya Major, and the group recently performed another single from their forthcoming album, "Another Bet", on the car, music, and food driven local podcast Car Con Carne.

Composer, recording artist and performer, saxophonist Shawn Maxwell is preparing to release his 11th studio album, Story at Eleven, tomorrow, March 24th.

This is the first new music from Maxwell since his 2021 album, Expectation & Experience. For this project he took a slightly different approach, and has composed a long-form piece broken into four distinct movements.

On this album Maxwell is joined by Collin Clauson (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, B-3), Michael Barton (Electric Bass), and Greg Essig (Drums).

MIIRRORS are preparing to released their long awaited debut album, Motion And Picture, this Friday, March 24th, via Pravda Records.

Mute Duo have released the second single, "Trust Lanes", from their forthcoming album, Migrant Flocks, which is due out on April 14th via American Dreams.

This is the project of pedal steel guitarist Sam Wagster and drummer Skyler Rowe.

Alga has released a new double single called "Can You / The Castle".

This is the first new music from Alga in 2023 and the follow-up to last year’s double single "Truck Driver / Star"

The Brownsville, TX darkwave duo Twin Tribes have released a remix of the WINGTIPS song "Innocent Blood" from their 2019 debut album Exposure Therapy.

The remix is available via the Toronto-based label Artoffact Records.

Pinnings recently released debut album, Squid Kid. This is the lo-fi, bedroom folk of local musician and actor Kieran McCabe.

The album took McCabe over two years to compile, and last August he released the album’s lead singles "Northern Whales" b/w "Southern Sharks".

Gregory Uhlmann has released the second single, "Homecoming", from his forthcoming third studio album, Again and Again, which is due out April 28th via Northern Spy Records.

This follows the album’s title track which was released last month. "Homecoming" is accompanied by the Steven Stallings directed video below.

Gabacho has released his long-awaited debut album, Parque. The most recent single, "When We Go", is accompanied by the El Cursi directed video below.

This single was written by local singer/songwriter Anita Lin, but is masterfully performed by Caton.

Friko have released a new single, "Crimson to Chrome", via Fire Talk Records.

This is the work of frontman Niko Kapetan, bassist Bailey Minzenberger, and drummer Luke Stamos.

The trio is out on a month long tour that kicked off back on 10th at Empty Bottle and will find them playing SxSW over the next few days.
