Final Showcase might be "The Greatest Band You’ve Never Heard Of," well, according to the title of their new EP. And with the growing popularity of pop-punk and emo on the music landscape, especially in Philadelphia, we wouldn’t be suprised if the flegling outfit gets picked up by a label sooner than later. The band is made up of Joe Adams (rhythm guitar/vocals), Sean Flanagan (bass/vocals), and Ben Harkins (lead guitar), and it looks like they could use a permanent drummer so if you like what hear, get in touch.

New Music Video: “Michael” – Grubby Little Hands
In Grubby Little Hands‘ new music video for "Michael," off their latest album Garden Party, you find its protagonist stripping away the confines of his suit and changing into his charismatic wresting alter-ego before roaming the streets of Philadelphia. He’s embraced and gawked at by the unsuspecting passerbys before the lines of reality and imagination are blurred. The video was directed by filmmaker Brian Melton, a longstanding collaborative partner with the band, and stars Tom Tschop as the wannabe Ultimate Warrior. Grubby Little Hands will be performing next in Philly on Friday, July 29 at Boot & Saddle, opening for The Besnard Lakes.

The Deli LA presents OSCILLATOR’s first livestream party with NATIVE FAUNA and TRANS-X
The Deli LA is proud to present the first of many collaborations with eminent underground synth venue OSCILLATOR: A Late Nite Synth Party!
These intimate, future-retro events will feature LIVE performances by ORIGINATORS of SYNTH as well as the best of the NEW SYNTH-SET. The early part of the evening will be a live-streamed set of performances, followed by a line-up of baddass DJs giving us classic synth-pop and new tracks from around the globe that will take us dancing into the night, house party style.
Los Angeles’ distinguished exoti-goth horrors Native Fauna rev up the night with a very special live set, and synthpop/Hi-NRG duo Trans-X will also make an appearance to perform "Living On Video". DJ sets after midnight include HUSH TONES, Adrian Dark, Abe Mora, Gabe Reanimator, and Wayne Lyons.

Come help celebrate the fifth full-length album from Birdie Busch, Thunder Bridge, this evening at Boot & Saddle. Covering you in a warm blanket of cathartic storytelling, the innate, well-placed, rootsy vibe of the album allows the lyrics to lead the way in a traditional folk manner, while the instrumentation helps to accent the sonic setting in a twilight-twinkling, gently-rocking, peacefully-melodic kind of way. The Wilder Society performs tonight at Hotel Café, release debut EP next month
The Wilder Society are an emerging foursome that writes raptorous folk pop. They describe themselves as "wanderers, transplants, and vagabonds", which sounds precious by description, sure, but there’s a palpable genuineness that’s truly earned by way of strummy, wholesome harmonies and bucolic introspection. Their latest single, "The Lion’s Den", is a foot-stomping anthem that opens their debut EP of the same name with a wide-eyed optimism, though a further listen to their still-disclosed material exhibits a band whose writing is far more reflective than they initially come off as.
Even if The Lion’s Den is slated for a July 2016 release, the band is celebrating the release of the EP with a pre-release show tonight at Hotel Café. – Juan Rodríguez

Rivergazer performs tonight (06.17) for the launch of Bel-Air Radio at Baby’s All Right back room
Bel-Air is a DIY internet radio program that broadcasts live from the Bushwick based arts community/venue/recording studio called Silent Barn. Tonight (6.17) they will be hosting a free (21+) launch party for their newest show “pop rocks & rants” at Baby’s All Right. The radio show serves listeners witty banter and new music every other sunday at 5pm, and will be providing party-goers with dance and general debauchery tonight – according to their Facebook profile. Rivergazer (pictured), the musical project of Kevin Farrant (who also plays with Porches), is scheduled to perform. The band’s latest EP Only 4 U shifts their (previously rootsier) sound toward the synthpop, following a sonic development similar to Porches. Ben Kruse and oddlogic will also be performing DJ sets along with other members of Budo Kiba Collective and Outlier Recordings. Slacker rockers Frontyards are throwing a celebration tonight at Underground Animal for their new single “Lemons,” which you can now stream below. Meandering at a leisurely stroll, the band offers little words of wisdom, before raunchy, soaring guitars takeover, breaking up the monotony of always being taught something. Las Rosas unveil ‘Cops’ from upcoming debut + play Rough Trade on 07.01
Brooklyn’s Las Rosas have come a long way since releasing their first two EPs of lo-fi rock songs, little more than rehearsal space recordings served as invitations to check out their live show. After building some buzz through a fair amount of gigging and some touring, the band is about to chrystalize their psych garage pop repertoire in their debut full length “Everyone Gets Exactly What They Want,” set to drop this summer via Ernest Jenning. Recorded at Mitch Easter’s Fidelitorium in Kernersville NC, the LP’s first single “Cops” can be heard below. Las Rosas has three NYC area shows coming up, with the first on July 1 at Rough Trade in Brooklyn. Later that month they play Rippers in Rockaway Beach on July 23, and then back to Brooklyn for a show at Baby’s All Right on August 5. – Dave Cromwell
