As an avid concertgoer, I’m always looking for unique venues and concert experiences. Well, catching a couple of my favorite local acts, The Extraordinaires and On the Water, today aboard the Portuguese tall ship Gazela Primero, a 177 foot Barkentine Square Rigger docked on Penn’s Landing, certainly sounds like one of them. They’ll be performing as part of the One Day Craft on Craft Market and Concert Series, which will also feature small businesses and cultural institutions selling their wares. Unfortunately, it will be a midday event so all you 9-to-5ers will be missing out unless you find a way to sneak off for a couple of hours. Come on – you don’t really like your jobs anyways! Alt folks embrace the perks of alt living and head toward the water. What else do you have to do today?
