Today, Quarters releases a double-sided single, giving the people a first sneak-peak of their upcoming third album in the form of “STAR / PLUMMET” with the NYC rockers (f/k/a Quarters of Change) now comprised of Jasper Harris (guitars, bass, synths), Benjamin Orlen Roter (vocals & guitar) and Attila Lee Anrather (drums) as they continue their ever-evolving musical evolution now scaled down to a three-piece, single-monikered combo launching their new identity with two single-monikered songs…

But what do these two songs actually sound like, you may wanna know? If Nine Inch Nails and The 1975 had a baby [Ed: A Brief Inquiry Into Downward Spirals?] it might sound like “STAR.” Whereas “PLUMMET” infuses more elements of grunge and feels like Gorillaz and Panic! At the Disco‘s dope love child (the new album is co-produced by Imad Royal, who has a long standing relationship working with Panic!). The spicy, energetic, and forceful tracks are thick with full and impactful drums, walls of bold guitar, and entrancing vocals.

Clean production and intricate layers anchor the two songs, but they stand in contrast–the former much softer than the latter. They show two poles of the band’s sound, and the record will hopefully fill in that spectrum. “STAR” and “PLUMMET” are a super exciting start to this new season of Quarters, showing the group’s evolution in the tracks’ uniqueness, super-extra-tightness, and creativity.

Quarters upcoming LP will be out in March 2026, and sale for their tour begins today!

Next month, in support of The Band Camino, they will traverse the UK / EU, before embarking on their own headline tour across the US in March.

They’ll be sharing a stage on certain dates with Porchlight, Charlie Burg, Malice K, The Telescreens, Khaliko, Trophy Wife, Paper Lady, Nautics, and Sara Sloan
