"Red State" is the first single off Dominic Angelella’s forthcoming solo EP Road Movie. It was born from his ventures on the road, where he experienced a frightening encounter with police in Russia. "This song was written later in the year after a tour through the American Southeast, in attempts to connect the red states of my country with the strange, wildly beautiful place that I visited earlier in the year," Angelella shared with Brooklyn Vegan. Road Movie is due out on May 4 via Philly’s own Lame-O Records.
