While on tour in support of their LP Sea When Absent, A Sunny Day in Glasgow recorded the songs that will be featured on their forthcoming double EP Planning Weed Like It’s Acid / Life is Loss. The EP’s opener “Jet Black, Starlit” compiles multiple textures, while enchanting vocals cut through a variety of instrumental components, creating a futuristic shoegaze-y cloud, that’s relaxing at its core and chaotic along the edges. Planning Weed Like It’s Acid / Life is Loss will be released digitally and on CD via Mis Ojos Discos on November 13.
