We just wanted to remind you about two releases from local artists out today that have been a long time coming. Espers’ Meg Baird drops Seasons on Earth, the follow-up to her debut solo album Dear Companion which was produced by Miner Street Recordings and Weathervane Music mastermind Brian McTear, via Drag City. She’ll be celebrating her release this Saturday at Johnny Brenda’s. Clap You Hands Say Yeah are back with their third studio full-length Hysterical. The band has also returned to their roots by self-releasing their latest offering HERE. They’ll be toasting Hysterical along with the grand opening of Union Transfer tomorrow evening. Both albums come about four years since their last, and you can stream the new releases in their entirety via NPR’s First Listen.
