Below is the fourth and final video for The Roots’ undun music video series, which premiered today via Okayplayer and was directed, shot, and edited by Clifton Bell. It’s for the track “Sleep” featuring Aaron Livingston (Icebird, The Mean). undun will be dropping on December 6, and is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974 – 1999). The album’s main protagonist was heavily influenced by Sufjan Stevens’ song “Redford,” and Stevens will also be making an appearance on the record.
