mewithoutYou Homecoming w/Hop Along at The Troc Oct. 18

Post-hardcore/experimental rock band mewithoutYou is coming back home for the final night of its 10th anniversary tour of Catch For Us The Foxes. The record was released almost exactly 10 years ago to this date by Tooth & Nail Records. The fan-favorite album features the kind of harsh schizophrenic pontifications from lead singer Adam Weiss, inspired largely by religious works as well as his own dark encounters that the band returned to on their latest album, Ten Stories, released in 2012. mewithoutYou suggests getting to The Troc early so you don’t miss out on their “best line-up of openers in ages”: The Appleseed Cast and Hop Along, local pop-punk-ish outfit, who recently opened for Philly favorites Dr. Dog at the Mann Center back in September. The group is led by Frances Quinlans often raspy, breathy vocals that are always both bewitching and alluring. Be there to support mewithoutYou’s homecoming!
