Meg Baird has a new album coming out on September 20 titled Seasons on Earth via Drag City. But you’ll have a chance preview some of it tonight when her mellifluous voice opens for the legendary Sonic Youth front man Thurston Moore at the First Unitarian Sanctuary. Drag City also recently shared the lead single from the album called “The Finder,” which you can take a listen to and download HERE. Baird will be having a record release party on September 24 at Johnny Brenda’s where she’ll be playing double duty that evening opening up for herself on drums with her punk rock band Watery Love featuring Clockcleaner’s Richie Charles.
