If you haven’t heard, Little Berlin and BITBY have teamed up to start a Kickstarter campaign to help make a community accessible outdoor visual art, garden and performance space in Kensington dubbed the “Fairgrounds” and get BITBY’s monthly episodes on vinyl come to fruition. Yes, we know. You are probably numb to Kickstarter pleas these days, and you might be thinking, “Didn’t Little Berlin just get a $10,000 grant from the Knight Foundation?” Yes, they did. But what you probably didn’t know (and neither did we until chatting with Little Berlin’s Marshall Cavanaugh) is that you only receive the grant money from the Knight Foundation if you are able to raise the same amount on your own to match it. They’ll also need a helluva lot more cash to complete this project. You can check out their Kickstarter video and page with more deets HERE.
