The saga continues for Little Bar, but it looks like the end for the once promising South Philly music venue. According to City Paper’s Meal Ticket, owner Michael D’Addesi has decided to close the bar, and plans to leave the bar biz to attend law school in North Carolina. All this happened after PVP, who had been handling the booking there after things went sour with Phonographic Arts, decided to suddenly quit last weekend. They’ll be moving their events to Teri’s (where they’ll be permanently booking) and JR’s. All pending shows at Little Bar are cancelled, and D’Addesi stated that “the new tenants are going in the neighborhood bar/restaurant direction, so no more music venue.” No word about who the new owners will be yet. We can’t say that we are surprised at all by this recent outcome.
