Indie-rock quartet Left & Right has been sharing tastes of its new album, The Yips (WarHen Records), for months now. And the band’s follow-up to 2014’s Five Year Plan has the group teaming up once again with producer Justin Pizzoferrato (Dinosaur Jr., Parquet Courts) to create a medley of lush soundscapes that also succeed in challenging the members as songwriters and performers. It’s an album that’s worthy of celebration, which is what they’ll be doing this evening at Everybody Hits for the hometown stop of their current tour. However, it will also be a bit of a bittersweet one, since it will mark their last Philly show with drummer Zak Krone. Let’s make it a memorable night, where they’ll be joined by the vibrant alt-country melodies of Friendship, the multi-layered fuzz of Horsecops, and Boston’s Sneeze! Everybody Hits, 529 W.
