The trio known as Lady Parts hits the upstairs of Kung Fu Necktie this evening. The band dishes out melodic, cut-down-to-the-core rock, implementing smooth vocal harmony and combating that with moments of snarl. Lyrically-twisting, simple-on-the-surface images that entrench themselves with a deeper resonance, it’s heartfelt, attitude-smeared rock that you’ll subconsciously replay throughout the day. The twang-infused, alt-country tunes of Betty Iron Thumbs and the jolting noise-punk of Kevin help to complete this billing, which also includes the debut performance of local three-piece Cool Eagle.
