Our friends at PhilaMOCA are planning something quite fun and interesting for your Tuesday nights starting in June. They’ll be hosting a series called TUESDAY TUNE-OUT, a weekly night of music and movies. PhilaMOCA will be having local musicians perform, and then they’ll introduce a previously unannounced film of their choice. The screening will be preceded by an explanation of why they chose the film and how it inspires them. June will be guest curated by Rockaphilly.com with Lushlife, Jesse Leyh from In Grenada and Oh! Pears scheduled to perform. Herbie Shellenberger (Pet Milk, Brown Recluse) will be handling the selections in July, and Folkadelphia’s Fred Knittel will be taking on the duties in August.
