Self-proclaimed and aptly named “ghost folk” outfit Psalmships will be headlining the free Victorian Dining Room Series at the North Star tonight. Though mastermind Josh Britton may prefer the stillness of the night and loneliness of his own room to lay down the creaky intimacy of his music, the baritone timbre of his earnest vocals can surely awaken any old spirits that may still linger in the 125 year old dining hall or at least pull the silenced crowd into his introspective world of loss and redemption which is often served with a chaser of whiskey.
