Former Belle recently went into the studio with their good friend Farzad Houshiarnejad (White Birds/ex-Drink Up Buttercup), who recorded and mixed their latest track “Ancient Drum”. It’s more experimental in production and song structure than the radio-friendly pop morsels found on their debut EP Sounds From the Ground, but with Bruno Joseph’s lead vocals, hooks, and subject matter, it doesn’t stray far from something that could still get some spins on the radio.
