Chris Forsyth and The Solar Motel really know how to dish out expansive drifting rock with a melodic core. Case in point, the group served up a tasty take of Captain Beefheart’s “Alice in Blunderland” (found on the 1972 album The Spotlight Kid) at Johnny Brenda’s a couple of weeks back.
