Final Summer Show w/Pattern is Movement & Moon Bounce at Spruce St. Harbor Park Aug. 21

Smoothly layered grooves with enriching, silky vocals, that’s what Pattern is Movement brings to Spruce Street Harbor Park this evening as part of this summer’s final free concert event, presented by the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation in conjunction with Weathervane Music (with a portion of the bar sales going to support the organization).  The duo of Andrew Thiboldeaux and Chris Ward creates complex music, grabbing elements from a wide array of styles & genres with the use of strings, horns, synth, etc., developing a sound all their own. And while their compositions provide depth, they do so while still marinating an airy comforting atmosphere allowing listeners to appreciate the interwoven R&B/soul/electro compositions without being weighed down by them. Local sex-pop aficionados Night Panther were schedule to appear; however, they unfortunately had to bow out due to personal reasons, and Corey Regensburg, a.k.a. Moon Bounce, is set to perform bringing his slightly twisted, entrancing electronic R&B/hip-hop hybrid.
