DJ and Producer Eris Drew has released her lastest album, Quivering In Time, via the label she co-owns with Octo Octa (aka Maya Bouldry-Morrison), T4T LUV NRG.
According to a statement Drew put out last month on her facebook page, "The album is filled with love, hope and the anxiety of the present. All the tracks exist somewhere between house, breaks and bass, with a lot of scratching, vinyl collages, turntable manipulations, hand-played keys, mutated guitars, hand percussion and other hopefully beautiful chaos".
We agree and would add that Drew draws deep on her Chicago House roots while adding fresh experimentation and live instrumentation to create a sound that would easily fill a small club, a beach party at sunset, or a stadium.
