I just wanted to remind you about DIY PHL‘s First Time’s The Charm at PhilaMOCA tonight. Inspired by Not Enough Fest in Portland, Oregon, it is an event that attempts "to break down barriers to participation in the DIY community." You’ll find brand new bands performing music from various genres for the first time in what is meant to be a supportive and nurturing environment. The proceeds from this evening’s event will go towards funding a member-based PA Share program with membership being open to all, which is an absolutely rad idea.
