Delco Pacers Record Release Show at MilkBoy Philly Nov. 14

With the release of their full-length debut Stereo Streets slated for November 19, Delco Pacers headline a record release event tonight at Milkboy Philly. The trio delivers songs that have a snowball effect: Momentum gathering from Jonathan Pitts earnest vocal tone spinning memorable mind-etching lyrics. The instrumentation has a free-flowing yet purposeful movement. At times, that movement has a casual rolling autumnal acoustic feel, and at others, it ramps up pushing the intensity; the percussion pops in a punchy manner, and the bass quickens its thumps building toward a crescendo that correlates with the lyrical context. This blend of relatable story-driven songwriting with an enthusiastic pop-rock sensibility makes Delco Pacers a band that is easy/natural to gravitate toward. They will be joined on the bill by the folk-rock Americana of Morning River Band, while the “honest” indie folk-rock of The Naked Sun opens the night.
