Daniel Knox has released the first single, “Alligator”, from his forthcoming album, MERCADO 48, which is due out on December 5th. Knox, now based in Porto, Portugal, is drawing inspiration from his new surroundings while enlisting the help of a group of musicians still based here in Chicago to bring his visions to life.
On this album he is joined by Joshua Fitzgerald Klocek, Jim Cooper, Paul Parts, Lee Ketch, Nate Lepine, Colby Starck, and Nick Jones.
The single is accompanied by a video filmed by Manuel Sá, and starring Knox’s dog Flor.
