When love takes a sad and dark turn, it’s best to try to relax and kick back with your friends. Pat Curren, the lead singer of indie rock band Clean Spill, tries to get over a heartache by playing with his friends on the video for their latest single, "Rolling." The romantic track follows a surfy, fifties rock style with an early aughts indie rock bent, which paired with Curren’s garbly, yet emotive vocal delivery, showcases their buoyant personality. Maybe Curren doesn’t get his desired outcome as it concludes, but judging by this promising track – and with a little help from his friends – the future looks quite bright.
"Rolling" is the latest single off of Clean Spill’s forthcoming EP, Nothing’s on My Mind, which comes out later this summer. Catch them at SoHo House in Santa Barbara on August 31. Juan Rodríguez
