Circadian Rhythms take you away to a simpler time when families and friends huddled around the lone AM radio in the home to enjoy the purity and beauty of music together. Those magical times can be captured once again at one of the band’s live performances, and you’ll have the opportunity to do so this evening when they open for Columbus, Ohio four-piece Saintseneca, who have a new release coming out soon via Anti Records, at Johnny Brenda’s. Circadian Rhythms just started working on their first album in two years so they’ll most likely have some old-timey new tunes for you. Also joining in on the retro fun are Deli faves and West Philly oddball folkies On the Water. They’ve been touring heavily before and since the release of their LP False Starts so you can expect their performance to be tight in the loosest way possible. Johnny Brenda’s, 1201 N. Frankford Ave., 9pm, $10, 21+ – H.M. Kauffman
