Soundproof Box is the new full-length album from Ami Saraiya & The Outcome. This is the follow-up to last year’s ep, Purging, and her first full-length since 2009’s Archaeologist. The album was produced and arranged by Mark Messing (Mucca Pazza), and it further blurs the lines between jazz, pop, and indie rock. The album kicks off with perhaps my favorite track, "I’m Pregnant" and its accordion filled haze. Soundproof Box will be released nationally on June 19th.

If you thought the Smith Westerns were a you should take a second look at the press photo for High Street. With an average age of 13 it is surprising that the band has been together for four years now. The band just released their second ep, Nocturnal and play a surprisingly polished brand of power pop and blues.
You can stream the band’s ep on the website. They are currently working on videos for the ep, but below is the video for "People Are" from the band’s first ep, Out Of The Attic.
