Shalloboi (aka Tyler Ritter) has released the title track of his forthcoming album. According to his facebook is not sure what album will be become or when it will be released but we are sure glad he shared this beautiful new track.

The Friendly Lens released their latest single, "Spendthrift Lynn" back in August. The band is lead by the vocals of Zachary Coarson. The single is the follow-up to their June EP Inland Towns.

Forgotten Species are releasing their debut EP Hades Fades on November 18th. The band formed five years ago in a local bar where Drummer Matt Zemburski and bassist Lizz Kannenberg were bartending. Lead singer and guitarist Blake Smith (Fig Dish, Caviar, and Eiffel Tower) would frequent the bar and the rest is history.

Twin Peaks has released a video for their track "Making Breakfast" which appears on their recent album Wild Onion.

Local legends Red Red Meat have teamed up Jealous Butcher Records to embark on a year long vinyl reissue project. The project kicks off with the band’s final album 1997’s There’s A Star Above The Manger Tonight being released on November 11th.

Wedding Dress has released the first single from their upcoming debut LP Desperate Glow which will be released on Nov. 18th via Lovitt Records.

Weddings Dress began as a solo project from Maps & Atlases guitarist Erin Elders, but has blossomed over the last year to include Mike Russell & Matt Lemke (Suns), Bobby Burg (Love of Everything/Joan of Arc) and Christian Dawson (Gypsyblood).

Crystal Lake’s Lever released their debut ep, Brainwashed, last month. The band is on the heavier side of basement rock with roaring guitars and occasional screaming vocals from Jon Babin and Jeff Aquino.

You can catch Lever at Take 20 (438 U.S. 20) in Cherry Valley on October 15th.

AyOH recently announced that they will be performing at Metro on November 8th with Out For Hours, Meagan Hickman, North of Eight and MG Bailey. The band is releasing their latest EP, Dangerous Questions, which features the new track "Help Me".

They entire EP is radio ready and AyOH is poised to be the next big thing coming out of Chicago.
