Chicago-born, Brooklyn-based Matty Rico will be releasing his next mixtape, Higher Hopes, this summer. This week he premiered a new single from the mixtape, "The Fall" featuring Doe Paoro. Rico also released a very cool video for his single "Cheap Champagne" back in February.

Univore is the duo of David Bachmann and Nicholas Flandro. Together they make a form of modern electronic jazz and grove music that is both beautiful and hypnotic. Their latest album, which also feature the tenor sax of Louis Stockwell, is called Mysteries and will be released on May 26th. You can currently stream the first four tracks from and preorder the album on bandcamp.

Groves is syrupy psych pop of Francis Shannon. Late last month he released an ambitious and sonicially dense album called Schizo Tape. He classifies this project as follows: " A strange collection of mostly nonsensical thoughts and songs written throughout the winter."

Redgrave (Angie Mead and Stephen Howard) has released the next single in their ongoing series of singles. Side A is a cover of the Lungfish track "Love Is Love" and Side B is a new track called "Dead Moon". You can stream and/or purchase the single here.

We are proud to debut the a haunting video for the Chicago/Minneapolis-based trio JONES. The (warning) blood and anger-filled video is for the title track of their debut EP, Are You Still Gonna Love Me Now That I’m Dead? and was directed by bassist Nick Rush.

The band will be releasing their blues infused ep, a song a week, over the next few months.

Out the Car Window is a young indie folk trio consisting of Jake Wahlen, Matt Carlton, and Griffen Taylor. They released their debut EP back in February. The trio has been gaining attention over the last few months with shows at Metro, Abbey Pub and other local venues.

Last month, we shared the news of the new single, "Night Games b/w Dopamine", from Weatherman. The single will be release on May 12th via La Société Expéditionnaire and can be preordered here.

The band recently announced that they will be celebrating the new single with a free show at Rainbo Club on May 17th with Oscillator Bug.

Electro-Pop duo IDYLL, Jojo (DJ) and Angelina (vocals), are performing at The MID on Saturday, May 9th. The duo is preparing to their debut EP this summer to follow up of the hit 2014 singles "Trouble" and "Big Boi".

Also performing on May 9th at The Mid will be recent G.O.O.D Music Signee Holt, Flat White, KYWO, and Mr. West.

Dream Pop band Scenic Void released their self-titled debut EP yesterday via Dancing Berries Music. The first single off of the EP is called "Blue Lamp".

The band will be performing a release show on May 29th at a location to be announced.

J Fernandez has announced that his next LP will be called, Many Levels of Laughter, and will be released via Joyful Noise on Jun 9th. The first single from the album is "Read My Mind". The album is currently available for preorder.

Tincho (aka Marty Kaleta) released their debut EP, I’m a Drip, last week. The video below was made by the talented Ryan Ohm, who also played drums on the Tincho’s EP, and is composed of clips from their recent European tour. The video is set to the EP’s closing track "A Little Bit".
