Trouble Hubble is back from a ten year hiatus. The band last released their 2005 album, Making Beds In a Burning House, and now will be performing at SubT on September 5th. The band has other shows scheduled this Fall, but no word on if there is a new album in the works.

Joining Trouble Hubble on Sept 5th at SubT will be Inspector Owl and Truman & His Trophy.

Whitney is Max Kakacek and Julien Ehrlich of Smith Westerns. The duo recently announced that they would be releasing an EP through Lead Riders in September and are working on a Full-length. The duo’s first single is called "No Matter Where We Go" and is a Psych-pop gem.

Local Motive is releasing their debut EP, Superconductors, this week. The EP was recorded at Rax Trax Recording and mastered at Gravity Studios, and is filled soulful funk and rock. Check out the EP’s first single, "Shallow Water", below.

S’Pocket is bringing their unique blend of funk and rock to Reggie’s on September 12th. This performance is SweetWater Brewing’s concert series and will also feature performances by Digeometric and Concrete Roots.

Homer Marrs & The Excellent Adventure are celebrating the release of their new EP, "Fun Size", with a show at Double Door on August 27th. The hype for the new EP has been building since February when the band released the EP’s first single and video "It’s Amazing".

Rooftop Session recently released their session with Crow Moses (formerly Musikanto). The performance was recorded at Navy Pier Terrace on rainy day. The band released their latest album, “Horse Heaven Hills”, back in September 2014.

Jennifer Hall has released the her track "Make It Out Alive". The video was directed by Alex Sheyn and incredibly haunting and colorful. The track comes from Hall’s recently release self-titled EP.

Hall is throwing a release party for the video on Aug 22nd at 1917 N Elston Ave. She is also performing at Beat Kitchen on August 29th.

The Aches released their latest EP, Your Broken Hand, back in April. The EP is an addictive blend of shoegaze and folk rock. Colin and Christiana Flanigan blend their vocals perfectly to add a complexity to the band’s storytelling.
