Pink Frost has released the first single, "Striking Violet", from their upcoming sophomore album Gargoyle Days. The album is scheduled to be released via Smart Like Virus Records on December 4th.
Strange Faces
The debut album from Strange Faces was announced by Autumn Tone Records this week, and Stonerism is slated to be released on December 11th. Strange Faces is fronted by David Miller, and consists of guitarist Taylor Walters, bassist Phillip Valdez and drummer Ben Leach. A full review of the album is coming in early December. This will be the follow up to their 2013 debut EP Hazy Days (below).
The Gold Web
The Gold Web recently released a new EP called FREAKS! The band is a mixture glam rock and art rock and always entertaining. Below is the title track from the EP.

History Now
Earlier this month History Now released a new single and video called "Daylight Savings". This timely, but epic track combines elements of rock, noise, and ambient music as it takes you on an adventure.
SCIENTIST
SCIENTIST is the experimental metal from Eric Plonka (Yakuza), guitarist/vocalist Patrick Auclair (Yakuza, Taken By The Sun), drummer Justin Cape (Taken By The Sun), and bassist Matthew Milligan (Making Ghosts). The band will be releasing their long awaited second album, 10100II00101, on December 11th. The album was recorded at Minbal Studio and features contributions from members of The Atlas Moth, Pale Horseman, Without Waves, and others.
The Kickback
The Kickback has released a video for their track "Sting’s Teacher Years". The song is taken from their recent debut album Sorry All Over The Place.
Bloodshot Six Pack to Go
Local label Bloodshot Records announced last week that they will be releasing a six pack of 7" single on December 4th. These singles are themed around drinking songs for the working class. Now that the label has turned 21 they are celebrating in the way you would imagine, by drinking!
The collection features six 7" singles featuring songs by Deer Tick, Elizabeth Cook, Robert Pollard (Guided By Voices), Bobby Bare Jr, Dale Watson, Al Sorch, Joe Pug, and more. The first 500 copies sold will also feature a 7th single featuring Chicago’s Devil in a Woodpile and Tijuana Hercules. Preorder here.
Chicken Pop Pie
I don’t know a lot about Chicken Pop Pie. I know they recently released a single called "It’s a Beautiful Day and We’re All Stupid" via Grandpa Bay, and that the b-side to that single, "Fruit Cat", is featured in the wild video below. I know that I really enjoy both tracks and that the first names of the band members are Nate, Rachel, Zach, Teresa, and Ben. Other than that Chicken Pop Pie is a mystery.
12th
12th is the work of Aaron Viland and friends. He recently released his latest full-length album The Stone, The Blood, and Other Twelfth-Told Tales. 12th has expanded beyond bedroom recordings and creates complex psych-pop will an intimate feel.

Glad Rags
Glad Rags is the trio of Matt Norris, Ben Karas, and Corey Anderson. Together they create a sound that combines jazz, psych pop, and dream pop. They recently released a video for the lead single, "Jane Goodall", from their forthcoming self-titled LP. The album will be released via Grandpa Bay on November 30th.

Pet Peeve @ Hideout
Pet Peeve are releasing their sophomore album, Broken English, this Friday. The band recently released the title track from the album which you can hear below.
