The Bishop’s Daredevil Stunt Club have released a New Year’s song called "The Woman Who Got Old". This is the band’s first attempt at the rare New Year’s song it turned out really well.

The track also marks the first official release for 2016’s Don’t Buy This Record, which will collect free monthly downloads by the band with a CD to be made available at the end of next year.

Beauty School is a newly formed 4-piece indie pop band that just released a compelling collection of demos. Just three tracks, "Demos" shows the bands ability to craft a catchy song.

New Oceans have released their latest album, FuzzBuzz. Below is the video for the album’s lead single, "ADHD". New Oceans is a trio of consisting John Kehoe, Rob Miller, and David Downs that plays blustering version of early ’90’s influenced rock.

Punk band Bruised released a new EP this week called Boys Never Die.The EP is seeing a limited run released through Entry Level Media and can be downloaded for whatever you would like to pay on bandcamp.

Dogs at Large released their album Please Refrain early this month. They self-produced and released this project but the sound is sharp for basement rock. They are following a trend of late of ’90’s alternative rock throwbacks, but as with most this sound can not be overdone. You can download Please Refrain for free here.

That Candor is a new swing-punk band featuring Alex Munson, Day Munson, and Blake Jarman. The released their first single this week, a track that would give Squirrel Nut Zippers a run for their money, "That Swing".

Jude Shuma released his latest EP, Insomnium, this week via Tiny Meow Records. Below is the EP’s lead single "Might As Well". The EP also features remastered versions of "Wandering" and "Subterranean Feelings". Shuma is planning a full-length release for 2016.

Ezra Furman has released a new track, "The Prisoner", which was the b-side to his single "Restless Year". Furman also announced his Spring tour which will have in Austin for SXSW.

Whispers is preparing for an European Tour beginning next month in the Netherlands.

Wired Minds are releasing their debut EP, Saudade, this week. This band is a throwback mastering the Britpop sound of the early to mid-80’s. Think a slightly move upbeat take on The Church. These release is a sample of what’s to come on their forthcoming LP due out in early 2016.
