Crown Larkes will be returning home from a 7 week tour to open for Besnard Lakes and J Fernandez at Empty Bottle on May 4th. Crown Larkes released their latest album, Blood Dancer, a year ago and has been relentlessly touring since. Last month Already Dead Tapes & Records released a limited anniversary run of tapes of Blood Dancer that you can still purchase here or at the show.

The Dives released a new single this week called "Naked". On this track, The Dives perform a brand of sultry electro-pop that bumps right up against R&B.

Al Scorch will be releasing his first album for Bloodshot Records, Circle Round the Signs, on May 13th. The label recently released the album’s second single "Lost At Sea". You can pre-order the album here.

Scorch will be touring the midwest throughout the month of May, but his next local show will be June 5th at Do Division Street Fest.

History Now released a new single called "11.01" this week. History Now creates improvised ambient music and in the case of "11.01" beautiful soundscapes.

ODDITY (formerly known as Fletcher) has released the first single, "Pressure’s Gone", from their forthcoming LP Settle Down. The album will be self-released on June 24th.

Verbal Kent has teamed up producer !llMind to release a new album, Weight of You World, on Mellow Music Group. The album dropped today and is completely free on bandcamp. Kent also partnered with Jash and Homeless Cop to release a video for the track "Roll With Me".

Love In October ( Erik Widman and Kent Widman) are releasing their new EP, Love In October III, this Friday. This is the band’s 3rd and their return from a four year hiatus. Below is the first track on the EP "Teenage Evolution". 

Kristin Phillips has released a new video for her single, "Obsession Supreme". The song comes from her recently released EP "Cimematix".

Mick from The Curls has released a solo single called "Violence". The Curls released their first full-length LP, Slice of Life, last month and will be touring the midwest next month.

Local trio Eiffel Tower has release a new EP called Eugene Sawyer EP. They will be celebrating the release with a show The Burlington on May 7th with Junkee Girl, Boxing Fetish, and Joe Bordenaro.

Earring has shared the first single, "Dark Heart", from their forthcoming album Tunn Star. The album will be released by Fire Talk Records on June 10th.
