Melkbelly recently released a new 7" single via Manic Static, "Mount Kool Kid" b/w "Elk Mountain". Side A is a sludge-filled psychedelic journey lead by the Kim Gordon-esque vocals of Miranda Winters. Side B, "Elk Mountain", is brought to life is the video below.

Gramps the Vamp are preparing to release their sophomore album, The Cave of 10,000 Eyes, on October 18th. The band recently released a video for the album’s title track directed by Alaric S. Rocha.

Hemmingbirds have been on tour since early in August and are making one of their final stops in NYC this weekend at Mercury Lounge. The tour is in support of their 2016 EP, Half A Second, and Sofar Sounds Chicago recently released a video by Hemmingbirds performing the EP’s title track.
