DC’s Bobbie Allen met Nashville’s Trent Dabbs at a gig in DC in 2011. Her beautiful voice and his songwriting skills came together in Young Summer, and the forthcoming synth-pop EP Ready or Not. The lead single "Fever Dream" (currently available on iTunes), full of seductive vocals and bubbling synths, promises an experience familiar to adventurous ‘80s pop fans, without being purely retro.
