Spank Rock headlines a trio of local acts for the Red Bull Sound Select showcase curated by Jump Philly. The temperature will be on the rise tonight as the sensual, steamy, pulse-grinding groove is all but assured to make things hot and heavy with a lyrical flow that isn’t afraid to offer direct observations and raunchy intentions that are guaranteed to make those within the confines of Underground Arts blush, giggle and possibly get a bit horny. The moodily melodic pop-punk of Mumblr will also grace the stage with its varying levels of intensity, appropriately fuzzing out while applicably providing an air of disorder. The unfiltered psych-boogie experiment of Prowler appropriately performing underground will expand one’s expectations and wet the appetite for an evening that dares to boldly tear down boundaries.
