Warm Ones is the brevity that speaks in perfect harmony. Equal parts after-school special, adult film and Polish- style buffet, the Chicago four-piece specializes in aggressively catchy indie rock songs that range from bubble gum pop, found on such tracks as “Small Spies” and “Love For A Week” – to noisy garage riffs like “Bacteriostatic”. The band is as experimental as it is grounded in simplicity and the result has been strong songs, dynamic recordings and memorable melodies. On Jan 21st, 2010, Warm Ones released their debut full length album "Sprezzatura" to a packed house at the Hideout in Chicago. In the two weeks since it’s release, the album has already received positive reviews from Tribune writer Matt Pais in Metromix and the Redeye, and received airplay on 93XRT courtesy of Richard Milne, who described the Warm Ones record as one of his favorite releases of the year so far.
