The Deli Nashville’s Weekend Itinerary

It’s a big weekend for music around town, so prime your liver and prepare to dance because Music City is living up to its name.

Friday…

Tonight the gig to beat is East Nashville Underground, taking over The East Room yet again. Tonight’s lineup is filled to the brim, featuring:

Vinyl Thief
All Them Witches
Alanna Royale
Machines Are People Too (headliner)
Magnolia Sons (headliner)
Cult Logic
DJ Rate (from Boom Bap)
Doors open at 9 pm. Get there early because this one will sell out!

On the other side of the river at The Stone Fox, Glossary are taking the stage with Telegraph Canyon. We recently had the chance to catch up with Glossary frontman Joey Kneiser and will give you the rundown on that next week, but seeing them live tonight would be a fantastic way to warm up to that.

Saturday…

More ENU! Still going strong at The East Room, the Undergrounders kick off their day show at 1 pm with a steady flow of beer, bands, and brunch. The daytime lineup runs until 8 pm and will feature:

The Static Trees
Jon Byrd
Joshua
Waterfall Wash
KS Rhoads (headliner)
Colorfeels (headliner)
Frances & The Foundation
Hanzelle

And once the day show wraps up, the jams run right into the nighttime show. Doors are at 9 pm for the second half of Saturday at East Nashville Underground, and the show will run way past bedtime. Rounding out the winter ENU experience wil be:

Golden Spurs
COIN
Tesla Rossa
James Wallace & The Naked Light (headliner)
MOON TAXI (headliner)
The Wans
DJ That Guy! (Kory Schalm)

Sunday

Depending on how loud you want to get, the local music scene is giving you some options for the death rattle of your weekend. The Exit/In has Western Medicine, along with Psychic Ills and Cloudland Canyon.
Western Medicine are up first, so show up early.

On the quieter (yet still bad ass) side of the rock spectrum, you can find Anna Haas in the 12th & Porter lounge in all of her fiery, redheaded glory, reminding us that being a singer/songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee isn’t all cowboy boots and cover songs.
