Dean Ween, a.k.a. Mickey Melchiondo, recently announced that he is currently working on his first solo album via his official site AskDeaner.com. It is being produced by Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, and will include "a combination of the best musicians [that Deaner has] encountered over the years": Guy Heller, Claude Coleman, Chuck Treece, Dave Dreiwitz, Glenn McClelland, Joe Kramer, Andrew Weiss, Joe Russo, Scott Metzger, Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri, and more.
