On Sunday you may want to find your way over to Matchless Bar in Greenpoint for sunday of free music, (late) brunch and bloodys – only the music is free, mind you! Starting at 3pm, the bands on the bill are – in this order: exotic and quirky rootsy Generous Lovers, jazzy singer songwriter Sergio Ortega, folk rocker Randi Russo , and apocalyptic rock perpetrators Bugs in the Dark – one of the most awesomely tense indie bands in NYC, thrown in there so you don’t get too confortable or relaxed during this long weekend.
