What started out as a solo multi-instrumentalist mixtape project back in 2008 has since emerged into an ambitious explosion of dancehall, dub, hip-hop, and more. After extended recording sessions, Blayer Pointdujour and his Rockers Galore have been able to manifest the original demos into their debut EP Port Au Prince. They’ll be celebrate the release at PhilaMOCA tonight (originally scheduled at Bookspace) and are even hospitable enough to offer free drink & food before 11pm. Opening up the show will be The National Rifle who are still raising funds on Kickstarter before they step into Miner Street Studios for the recording of their first full-length album. Rounding out the lineup for the evening will be Adam & Dave’s Bloodline and Brooklyn’s Contramano. PhilaMOCA, 531 N. 12th St., 8pm, $10, All Ages – Bill McThrill
