Blayer Pointdujour and the Rockers Galore will be holding their record release party tonight at MilkBoy Philly. Their new full-length album The Bull, the follow-up to 2011’s Port Au Prince EP, was recorded at MilkBoy Studios, and will be released via Philebrity Label. Blending a mixture of reggae, funk, hip hop, compas, and rock with some historical and personal knowledge and experiences, Pointdujour uses music to educate, uplift and shake the booty of its listeners. The band will be supported this evening by the psychedelic dub sounds of I Yahn I Arkestra, indie rockers The National Rifle, and hip hop collective Philadelphia Slick, which should make for an eclectic night of music.
