Date Nite’s collection of interstellar electronic pop songs are highly entertaining and sultry. San Francisco based neo psychedelic rock band, Cellar Doors are playing a great show with a unique line up that should not be missed. Influential indie rock musicial duo, Rogue Wave will be performing live in San Francisco for two nights at the Independent next weekend. The intense San Francisco based garage-folk rock band, Growwler has released an ambitious new music video for the title track of their 4-song album entitled, Shooter’s Hill. The music video is just as high energy as the track, making Shooter’s Hill an action packed effort that is hard to ignore.

Keep an eye out for Growwler for their music is unique because their creative heavy garage rock folk songs also exhibit pop undertones, making the band’s music accessable and addicting to listen to. The Shooter’s Hill music video is officially released today, and we’re excited to share it!

The 3rd Annual San Frandelic Music Festival (a The Deli Magazine San Francisco sponsored event) possesses one of the most intriguing if not unique line ups this year, as the fest promises a rare performance from the endearingly controvertial filmmaker, actor, artist, model and musician, Vincent Gallo. Cult psych rock favorites, Spindrift and Guy Blakeslee of The Entrance Band will also play the bill along with local bands, Cool Ghouls and Virgin Hymns.

The festival takes place at Thee Parkside in San Francisco, and promises a night of the finest neo psychedia bands on the west coast. Do your best to support local festivals and events. San Francisco based neo sludge punk band, Scraper released their debut EP on July 16th of this year. This intensely gritty local punk outfit’s new self titled 7 inch release was produced and recorded by the legendary Ty Segall and Eric Bauer. Scraper’s 6 track EP is a homage to underground garage punk, and takes you through a dark tunnel of sludgy musical overtones and surreal lyrics. Make sure you pick up this new release from Drag City.

The popular San Francisco based songwriter and producer, Blackbird Blackbird will be DJing an intimate Summer Solstice event in San Fran tonight (June 21st). Reyka Vodka and Flavorpill Media are throwing the Reyka Summer Solstice Celebration at Swig. This event is a free happy hour cocktail party from 6-9 pm!

This Saturday is your chance to check out a solid electro-pop-rock local line up in San Francisco. The Tenderloins, Bears! Bears! Bears! and All Your Sisters are sharing a bill on June 22, 2013 at Cafe Du Nord.

This line up will make for an enthralling show, as the bands will flow together well. All Your Sisters includes a member of Teenage Sweater, which is a Bay Area band of the moment. The show will be produced by Bourgeois Productions Presents, filmed by Squire Films and photographed by Anna Larina of Skeleton Key Photography. It’s always a great idea to go out and support your favorite bands, and local shows that have well curated line ups!

San Francisco based singer songwriters Megan Keely and Jessie Bridges are set to celebrate the release of their upcoming albums during their duel record release party at The Chapel in San Fran on July 12, 2013.

Keely, who is releasing her sophomore album entitled, Deciduous, spent the winter recording her tasteful and well produced album in Nashville and Bridges is releasing her first full length album, which is an endearing folk rock effort called Let it Breath. Both of these musicians are bright and write well crafted folk, country ballads.
