Exclusive Premier: Ghost Parade’s Newest Music Video: Low
We’re premiering the brand new music video from San Francisco based heavy indie rock band, Ghost Parade. The new track and music video are entitled Low, and explodes in your ear drums as this heavy power rock track holds no pretences of being mellow from the very first notes. In the video, Justin Bonifacio and George Woods jam with the rest of their talented band,in a sterile white room, giving the new song even more emphasis and forcing listeners to take notice to every word and riff the band performs.

Big Black Delta + Breakdown Valentine Play The Independent TONIGHT – 7/19
San Francisco based electro- pop band, Breakdown Valentine will performing with the popular and influential electro experimental solo project of musician Jonathan Bates of Mellowdrone called Big Black Delta TONIGHT at the Independent in San Francisco. This is going to be an intensely powerful show, as both bands create music that is heavy experimental electro and ambient soundscapes, laced with sultry vocals and searing beats that make for highly charged musical ambiance. Breakdown Valentine and Big Black Delta are super competent and great sounding bands.

His album is called Change of Shapes and has been released under his full musical moniker, Jared Cohen and the Future Proof. Three Day Underground Music Fest – Ratscape Takes Over Baltimore 7/19-7/21
Baltimore’s Ratscape is going to hit the town with a massive three-day music fest that will include many of Baltimore’s best, loudest and up and coming local bands. This is the second annual event that emerged as an answer to Baltimore’s legendary citywide arts and culture festival, Artscape. Ratscape is an alternative festival for true lovers of the local underground music scene, and will be held in Baltimore’s Station North Arts District at The Hour Haus, a music venue located next door to Joe Squared restaurant and bar. With local headliners like The Sterling Sisters, Baklavaa and Noisem wrapping up each night, Ratscape is definitely an anticipated summer live music showcase.
The event spans from July 19th through July 21st and the first bands start ripping up the stage at 2 pm. Each day showcases live music until 2 am! This is going to be an epic weekend of music. Slumberland Records Artist Terry Malts Release New Single and Announces New Album
San Francisco based fuzz post punk band, Terry Malts has released an awesome sounding new single entitled, I Was Not There. This seemingly mysterious band does a great job of letting their music speak volumes for them as I Was Not There is a well produced punk track that needs no introduction or explanation. We love clear cut great sounding punk music here at The Deli and Terry Malts delivers.
The band has also announced the release date of their upcoming second full length album, Nobody Realizes This is Nowhere, which is due out on September 10, 2013 through Slumberland Records. Make sure you get your hands on a copy.
Owl Paws Releases New EP – Cold Lead Bath – Plays Elbo Room 7/17
San Francisco based indie acoustic rock band, Owl Paws has released an honest and reflective EP entitled, Lead Cold Bath. Lead Cold Bath a collection of experimental folk ballads that are accentuated by the heartfelt, somberly attractive voice of Derek Schultz who sings songs that tell stories of heartbreak and quiet sorrow on this new album.

Local folk rock duo, Assateague perform live in San Francisco at Amneisa on July 18th. Assateague will be sharing the bill with plethora of touring country folk rock bands, Zoe Muth and The Lost High Rollers, Miwa Gemini and Margaret Glaspy. These bands range from traditional country, to gypsy folk, folk rock, to minimalist alt singer/ songwriter music. Although the bands are sonically diverse, they sit neatly into the acoustic folk and country genres as their unique touches to their music will make for an interesting live show.

Joseph Childress Releases Single Whispering Tides From Upcoming Album The Rebirths
San Francisco based singer songwriter and self proclaimed "lofi troubadour", Joseph Childress has released a new single from his upcoming full-length album, The Rebirths. The Rebirths is a collection of songs that were written while Childress was traveling on the road for two years. The album is quietly moving and conveys a clear and well-painted musical picture of transient life.
Childress has released a single entitled, Whispering Tides to hold us over until his new album is officially released on August 20th through Empty Cellar Records.
