Last week Hip Hop vet Chore Boy quietly dropped what he is calling "The last Chore Boy project ever!", an album called "Last One, Promise!!".

Like many of his recent projects, this album features beats from the talented producer Brad Kemp.

We are unsure if this is just a clever title and tug on the heartstrings of Chore Boy fans or a true retirement from the game. However, if it is the end of the moniker or the artist himself we want to genuinely thank him for the years of top notch music.

Satin Banshee has released a new single called "Gotta Get Back". This is the first new music from the trio since 2020’s single "Follow Me Down".

This is his second single of 2022 following-up last month’s "What’s Next".

Defcee has released the second single, "Dunk Contest", from his forthcoming collaboration with producer Boathouse, For All Debts Public and Private.

The new album is due out April 19th via Closed Sessions, and this single follows last month “Ragnarok” with featured Kipp Stone.

Folk Pop musician Rare Candy has released a double single featuring "Nowhere To Go" and "Get to Know You".

He is currently wrapping up a tour with Mint Green and Better Love that kicked off on St. Patrick’s Day at Burlington Bar.

R&B artist Gayun Cannon has released a new single called "Asad". This is the first new music from Cannon since the release of their 2021 debut EP "Brown Sugar Baby".

Back in December she released a video for the closing track, "I Don’t Need You", from "Brown Sugar Baby" that can be viewed below.

Colleen Dow has released a new single called "Lists" via Count Your Lucky Stars. This is the artist third single of 2022 following February’s "Yeah" and January’s "Bumbum".

Without Waves recently released a new album called Comedian via the LA based label Prosthetic Records.

Valaska has released a new EP called "Loverbird". The EP includes the band’s last two singles, 2020’s "New York Stories" and last year’s "Repeating History". This EP is the group’s follow-up to their album in·cho·ate.

This is the work of Matt Holmes, Zach Porlier, Dave Valdez, and James Young.

Friko has released their latest EP "Whenever Forever". The EP features the trio’s previous two single of 2022, "IN_OUT" and "Half As Far", along with three new songs.

This is the trio fronted by Niko Kapetan and featuring Luke Stamos on Bass and Bailey Minzenberger on Drums.

Mexican Psych Rock group Los Black Dogs have released self-titled debut album.

This is the culmination of years of work and features the band’s first two single, 2019’s "Fuego" and 2020’s "Cúrame el Alma".

Last week the Los Black Dogs celebrated the release of this album at Liar’s Club. Back in 2019 they performed "Cúrame el Alma" live at DZ Records and you can view the video below.

Ravyn Lenae has shared her latest single, "Light Me Up", via Atlantic Records. This is her second single of 2022 and both follow-up her 2018 debut EP "Crush".

When asked about "Light Me Up" she had this to say; “Light Me Up is about exploring the unknown with a new love; leaning into those tingly feelings while letting your guards down. This song highlights the beauty of allowing someone to truly see through you.”
