Kara Jackson “Why Does The Earth Give Us People To Love?”

Vocalist, Poet, musician Kara Jackson has released her debut album, Why Does The Earth Give Us People To Love?. For this project she enlisted the help of some of the most talented artists in the city including Kaina Castillo, Nnamdï, Sen Morimoto, Nick Levine, Macie Stewart, Forrest Jackson, and Elsz.

The latest single from the album is called "Lilly" and is accompanied by the video below.

Carrying Torches “Small Talk”

Carrying Torches have released a new single called "Small Talk". This is the first new music from the group since they released a series of singles in 2020.

This is the work of Justin Daniel, Jon Paul Gray, Misty Okroi, Taylor Smith, Mike Bass.

Arc of the Hunter “Received Tradition”

The local label Monolithos Records has released the latest album, Received Tradition, from Arc of the Hunter.

This is the dark ambient project from local artist/musician Timothy Elias Steinman.

This album was recorded at The Space Castle and finds Steinman utilizing digital synthesizers, analog synthesizers, drum machines, tape delay, effects units, and more.

DRAMA “Tighten It Up”

The R&B duo of Via Rosa and Na’el Shehade (aka DRAMA) are back with a new single and video called "Tighten It Up".

This is the first new music from DRAMA since their 2022 EP "Don’t Wait Up".

The duo are currently touring the West Coast and will be performing close to home when they take the stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI on June 30th.
