Squirrel Flower has released the two lead singles, “Full Time Job” and “When A Plant Is Dying,” from her forthcoming album, Tomorrow’s Fire, which is due out on October 13th on Polyvinyl / Full Time Hobby (UK/EU).

Chicago Native Phil Galloni, aka Waverly Drive, has released the third track, "Mind Play", from his forthcoming EP, "Now I Know", which is due out on July 28th.

This is the second solo EP from the now LA-based musician/studio engineer/producer following up last year’s "Living in a Fantasy".

Tim Kinsella and Jenny Pulse have released a third single, "Whinny", from their forthcoming Kill Rock Stars debut, Giddy Skelter, which is due out September 8th.

The eventual track, "Whinny", grew out of a 10 minute noise exploration that evolved into the atmospheric pop ballad it is today. You can hear all three versions of "Whinny" on Spotify.

Psalm One has teamed up with Purple Box video and APJ Films to release a video for her first single, "Caught a Melody", from her forthcoming EP, "The Returrn of Bigg Perrm".

The new EP is due out on July 28th via Filthe Records and features production from Custom Made.

For this project Psalm One also enlisted the skills of IAMGAWD, SolarFive and Angelenah.

The Weekend Run Club have released a new single called "Candyman".

This is the first new music from the group since the release of their album, Zoo.

Alt Rock/Dream Pop trio 6Kitty released their debut album, Tux, back in November. They are currently working on a video for the album’s lead single "Do I Walk".

Oyeme seemingly came out nowhere back in 2020 and released a series beautiful singles that blended folk, pop, RnB, and electronics. Since then she has appeared on tracks from Hudson Lee and Afternoon Bike Ride.

Jamila Woods has released the first single, "Tiny Garden", from her forthcoming album, Water Made Us, which is due out October 13th via Jagjaguwar.

This is new single also features an appearance by Queens, NY musician duendita, and is accompanied by the video below.

Sincere Engineer have released the second single, "California King", from their forthcoming album, Cheap Grills, which is due out on Sept. 22nd via Hopeless Records.

The single documents lead singer’s Deanna Belos overwhelming boredom and hopefully fictional desires to leave Chicago.

The band will performing as part of Sad Summer Fest at Huntington Bank Pavilion on July 21st. They will also be a part of this year’s Lollapalooza line-up in August.
