Tortoise recently released the lead single, “Layered Presence”, from their forthcoming album, Touch, which is due out on October 24th via International Anthem. The single is accompanied by the Mikel Patrick Avery directed video below.
This is instrumental post rock of Dan Bitney, John Herndon, Douglas McCombs, John McEntire, and Jeff Parker.
Tortoise will be touring this Fall including a highly anticipated performance at The Auditorium on November 11th with The Chicago Philharmonic.
