After a prolonged (since 2006) hiatus from live performing, The Sound of Animals Fighting returns to the stage for a seven-date tour that runs through the end of the month, and kicks off with a pair of back to shows at The Troc, starting this evening. The group, is currently, comprised of Anthony Green (Circa Survive) alongside Matt Embree and Chris Tsagakis, both members of RX Bandits, and former RX Bandit Rich Balling. These shows mark the first ever on the east coast for the assemblage of unpredictable experimental rockers. Unleashing an intensely composed variety of music fitting Green’s vocal style and revving up the instrumental elements – smooth, intricately high-gear guitar-heavy compositions invading percussion and unrelenting bass ready to jump the rails while maintaining contact. While tonight’s show is already sold out, tickets remain available for Friday. This is a rare opportunity to see a seldom-formed collective of musicians, so head on over to The Troc if you can.
