Band Name Back Together Again at Bookspace April 21

Power punk trio Band Name have been on a month and a half long hiatus while Jeremy Jams went on a travel expedition of Finland. But now that he’s back, the band are ready to revamp by kicking off a mini-tour with long-time friends Algernon Cadwallader, followed by a larger one in May. But before then, the group will be headlining a Cloud Entertainment show at Bookspace tonight that also features two tripped out indie punk bands from Michigan, Deadbeat Beat and Secret Twins. Rounding out the lineup will be singer-songwriter Mike Bell and his band the Movies. Whether it’s music from his recently mastered Be Happy Records album, How To Avoid Your Past, an untitled space rock opera, or a song for a friend getting their wisdom teeth removed, this infectious acoustic outfit will have plenty to keep you entertained. Also on the lineup is Ben Cady. Bookspace, (Please contact one of the acts for details.), 8pm, $5, All Ages – Bill McThrill
